Increase contributions from individuals and groups by building relationships and exploring new fundraising opportunities
Use networking and interpersonal skills to promote Onward Roseburg
A working understanding of Onward’s mission and programs
A Day in the Life:
Identify and reach out to potential donors including community members, local businesses, the faith community, and corporate entities to solicit charitable giving
Build relationships with new donors
Maintaining relationships with current and previous donors
Plan, coordinate, and manage new and imaginative fundraising activities and events
Research charitable trusts for criteria that match Onward Roseburg’s aims and activities
Prepare grant proposals to charitable foundations
Create and maintain an annual fundraising calendar with deadlines and events
Manage and update databases to record donor information
Work with the media specialist to develop and coordinate marketing campaigns and web-based fundraising activities
